Dyed Pasta Drop
Easy Saturday morning activity with our dyed pasta and a recycled cardboard tube.
Yesterday we made some rainbow pasta and today we are using it to practice hand eye coordination. Click here to check out how we made the pasta!
This activity has fine and gross motor aspects as well. Fine motor for the placing of the pasta in the tube and gross motor for squatting and standing to pick up the pasta from the small bowl.
This tube was from a large Costco size tin foil. Tin foil, parchment paper, and the other like them have harder tubes so they are more durable for baby play. You can also use the cardboard tube from a baby towel roll.
You do not need to make the DIY dyed pasta for this activity. You can use pom-poms, small toys, or other little items you can find around the house.
